According to the Five Element theory, the human body is made of the same five primary elements that exist in nature - wood, fire, metal, earth and water. Each element relates to different organs, energy systems, physical and psychological aspects of who we are.
True wellbeing comes from caring for the body, mind and spirit. The human being is a complex entity and it takes more than just exercise or diet to stay healthy and happy. There are certain elements that are essential to health. Throughout history the elements of nature have provided the inspiration behind many natural or alternative forms of healthcare, such as Traditional Chinese Medicine or Ayurveda. In designing "The Elements", a Total Health and Fitness Program, The Five Elements serves as a main theme.

The Elements:
This "Total Health and Fitness Program" is results based. It addresses not only exercise and nutrition, but includes other incredibly important aspects of life including stress management, sleeping habits, hydration, breathing and meditation. The Elements is a culmination of personalized fitness training and holistic lifestyle coaching services into one integrated, comprehensive program.
Initial Consultation:
The process starts with a complimentary 30 minute consultation. Call to schedule a time to sit down and discuss your goals and how the program might work for you. There is no obligation beyond entertaining the idea of what it will take to reach optimal levels of health and wellness.
Assessment:
If you choose to make the commitment to your health and wellbeing, you will participate in a multi-faceted assessment. This will include a health and lifestyle questionaire, a 10 day sleep, diet and exercise log, a metabolic typing questionaire, range of motion assessment, functional movement screen and much more. Based on the results, I will customize the initial and all subsequent phases of the program to meet your needs. Assessments are performed regularly and systematically during each of the phases to monitor and maximize your progress.
Phases:
The Elements is a fully integrated, progressive program. Each phase builds upon the success of the previous phases. How quickly you progress through the phases will depend on many factors, but in general, Earth and Wood take about 8 to 12 weeks each, Metal and Fire should take approximately 12 to 18 weeks each. Put that all together and in a little over a year from now you could be living a whole new way of life with a level of health and fitness that you may have thought was previously impossible! This is the ‘Health Care Plan’ that will pay off for the rest of your life!
